My name is Beth Engelhardt and I have a big bubbly passion for making bath and body products. 12 years ago, I made and gave handmade personalized gifts to my co-workers. They went over BIG, and people began asking for more! I listened, made more and Old Town Soap Co. was born! We then began selling at pop-up vendor events and street fairs.

After a few years, I jumped in with both feet, and quit my job {the scariest moment of my life!} and opened a little retail store in China Grove. Flash forward a few years, and I needed a bigger store, and my husband Brent came on board full-time after leaving his construction job.

We then got our first employee and then more. We added another store in downtown Kannapolis and later a manufacturing warehouse to have enough space to keep up production. It’s crazy to think we are selling to folks in all 50 states and 6 countries too. Between 2 retail stores, online and wholesale we really needed the space and more people.

Today we continue to develop new products, expand our retail, and wholesale customer base and hold onto this amazing, wild ride we call soaping! And we couldn’t have done it without all our loyal, loving customers.
